The Navy Operational Research and Logistics Symposium (SPOLM) is an integrator event of the Academy, Armed Forces and Industry and fosters the research and application of Operational Research and Logistics, besides related areas in the scope of Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Administration and Economics.
All SPOLM editions had an audience with high schooling and, as an inclusive event, promoted an interaction among professors, researchers, undergraduates, graduate students and entrepreneurs from all Brazilian regions. The SPOLM 2019 is going to take place on 06th, 07th and 08th November, 2019, as an annual activity of the Naval Systems Analysis Center (CASNAV).
The Symposium Theme is going to be "The Operational Research as a Governance Tool in Strategic Projects". The SPOLM 2019 scheduling includes the following events: a Plenary Session, Lectures, Workshops, Round Tables, Mini-courses and Thematic Sessions with the presentation of papers approved by Doctor Professors as a Reviewers Committee from the most important Brazilian universities.
Although the main approach of SPOLM is the operational research and logistics, as a multidisciplinary Symposium it addresses other correlated areas of CT&I. The thematic areas addressed by SPOLM 2019 are:
