Chief Operating Officer DCNS Research Born in 1970, Olivier Doucy graduated from Sup’Aero (ISAE) in 1993 with Master’s Degree in Aeronautics.
As a research engineer in SIREHNA, he focused his fist works on multi-disciplinary optimization methods applied to ship and naval structure design and to the adaptation and tuning of control algorithms of non linear and discrete systems.
Invited Researcher in Naval Post Graduated in Monterey (CA), he developed simulation and control techniques using on-line optimization applied to Underwater Robotics.
From 2000 to 2008, he acted as Technical manager of several projects for the development of embedded control systems applied to naval ships and submarines.
Several of those projects rely on the on-line application of optimization methods for the self-adaptation of control algorithm applied to non-linear systems.
From 2008 to 2015 as Chief operating Officer of DCNS Research he managed and supervised DCNS Group R&T Roadmap and Projects in the domain of Performances and design optimization of Naval ships, Energy Optimisation and Decision Autonomy. Several of those projects apply on-line optimization operational research methods.
