I MINE COUNTERMEASURES WEBINAR

OBJECTIVES
The Brazilian Navy, through the 2nd Naval District Command, holds every two years, an International Congress, presential, focused on Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Operations. The event aims to promote the exchange of technical and doctrinal information, strengthen ties between Navies, disseminate new systems available in the market and projects, as well as promote possible partnerships. For the 2021 edition, the MB decided to hold a distance event, over the internet, due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
REGISTRATIONS
The I WCMM has an ostensible character and all presentations will be open to the public, therefore NO registration required.
DATE AND PLACE
The event will be held on 09 and 10 November 2021, from 08h to 16h, Brasília time, in Time Zone "P" (GMT -3), and will be streamed from the facilities of the 2nd Naval District Command, in the city of Salvador, Bahia.
STREAMING SERVICE
The event will take the form of an online seminar, called Webinar. The transmission will be carried out through the Abrigo do Marinheiro Association (AMN) channel, on YOUTUBE, and for the debate periods, the StreamYard application will be used as a viewing platform.
SPEECHERS
The I WCMM will feature presentations from officers of the Brazilian Navy, of other Navies, and specialized Companies.
PRESENTATIONS
There will be five presentations per day of event. Each presentation will last forty minutes, followed by a ten-minute live debates period.
DEBATES PERIOD
During the presentations, interested parties should direct their questions to (com2dn.[email protected]). Some questions will be selected by the Moderator of the event, and will be answered "live" by the speecher. All questions will be sent to the speecher, and those not answered "live" will be answered by e-mail, later.
