FAJCMC belongs to the Brazilian Navy and has been managed since 1996 by EMGEPRON, which operates its industrial and administrative activities and where it produces the largest portion of the medium and large caliber ammunition used by the Brazilian Navy.

FAJCMC is in a privileged location, approximately 35 km from a test field, which will be made available to the winning bidder free of charge, and approximately 46 km from the Ports of Itaguaí and Rio de Janeiro.

The following is the main information about the Process:
- Subject: Granting of rights and assumption of obligations to a Special Purpose Entity (SPE), to be established by the winning bidder (Granting of Operational Management), which aims to operate FAJCMC for a period of 20 years, with the possibility of extension for another 20 years; - National companies or consortiums with a minimum participation of 25% from a national company may participate in the bidding process, i.e., the participation of a foreign company is provided for in the Notice;
- Visits must take place on 29APR2025 and 06MAY2025;
- A face-to-face meeting will be held to resolve bidders' doubts on 28APR2025; and
- Meeting for Accreditation, delivery/opening of proposal/qualification envelopes: 30MAY2025.
