United Nations Maritime Task Force Course 
UN Maritime Task Force (MTF) can contribute decisively and in support towards the successful achievement of the Mission’s mandate. To date, MTF have deployed to peacekeeping operations in most of the UN missions.
- Course objective: Prepare navy officers selected by Member States to be deployed in an UN Peacekeeping Mission as part of its Maritime Task Force.
- Course duration: 2 (two) weeks in total (10 working days)
• 1 (one) week (5 working days) for CPTM to be conducted remotely (online classes)
• 1 (one) week (5 working days) for STM for UN Maritime Task Force to be conducted at the NPOTC facilities, consisting of lectures, syndicate discussions, map exercises and a table top exercise (TTX) based on fictional scenario
- Target audience: navy officers (NATO rank from OF-1 to OF-5) in active service.
- Language used in the course: English (minimum STANAG 6001 Functional Language 3-2-3-2). All participants must be able to understand classes in English and to engage in discussions in order to fully benefit from the training.
