United Nations Military Peacekeeping-Intelligence Officers Course 

UN Military Peacekeeping-Intelligence Officers (MPKIO) can contribute decisively and in support towards the successful achievement of the Mission’s mandate. They must translate intelligence into tasks and actions that support security
- Course objective: Prepare officers selected by Member States to be deployed in an UN Peacekeeping Mission as part Military-Peacekeeping Intelligence Officers; and
- Course duration: 3 (three) weeks in total (15 working days)
• 1 (one) week (5 working days) for CPTM to be conducted remotely (online classes)
• 2 (two) weeks (10 working days) for RTP for Military Peacekeeping-Intelligence Officers to be conducted at the NPOTC facilities, consisting of lectures, syndicate discussions, map exercises and a table top exercise (TTX) based on fictional scenario.
- Target audience: Military Officers (NATO ranks from OF-2 to OF-5) in active service. They must have accomplished the junior staff course as prerequisite; and
- Language used in the course: English (minimum STANAG 6001 Functional Language 3-2-3-2). All participants must be able to understand classes in English and to engage in discussions in order to fully benefit from the training.
