6th BID Exhibition - EMGEPRON was present

EMGEPRON participated as an exhibitor at the 6th Mostra BID Brasil, which took place on December 7th and 9th at the Brasília Convention Center. At the Company's stand, visitors had the opportunity to learn about the main features and models of the Frigate Classe Tamandaré and the Patrol Ship 500-BR, the Augmented Reality Tactical Image Console (CITRA) system, the Bridge Simulator (SIMPASS) ), as well as the entire portfolio of products and services of the company

 

During the Event, the EMGEPRON stand was visited by the Minister of Defense, General BRAGA NETTO; the Commander of the Navy, Admiral of Fleet GARNIER; the Director General of Marine Material, Admiral de Squadron CUNHA; the Marine Industrial Director, Vice Admiral LIBERAL; the Director of Program Management of the Navy, Vice Admiral CALHEIROS; the Secretary of Defense Products (SEPROD) of the Ministry of Defense, Dr. Marcos Degaut; the President of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and National Defense of the Chamber of Deputies, Federal Deputy (MG) Aécio Neves; in addition to ambassadors, diplomats, military attaches, foreign and military delegations from the Armed Forces of friendly nations and the Security Forces.

 

According to the Brazilian Association of Defense and Security Materials Industries (ABIMDE), the 6th BID Exhibition had around 2,500 visitors and more than 80 exhibitors who had the opportunity to promote their products, services and innovations to the domestic market and abroad.

 

At the Mostra, the Minister of Defense presented the results obtained by the Defense Industrial Base in the 2019-2020 biennium, in which it achieved growth of more than 8% and sold over 1.5 billion dollars in Defense products abroad.
