In order to adapt the process of procuring ships, spare parts and services in the BNCE's area of jurisdiction, further increasing the Brazilian Navy credibility internationally, in February 2018, a project for changes in quality management began at BNCE, in order to further open up channels of communication with MB's customers, especially those belonging to the supply chain of the operating sector.
We sought to incorporate feedback procedures with customers into the good practices of the Brazilian Navy Neptune Program, incorporating them into the BNCE quality management system. Likewise, according to the ISO 9001: 2015 standards, new risk management procedures have also been incorporated.
The joint work of the entire crew led to a gradual increase in quality levels in Procurement, culminating in the ISO 9001: 2015 certification, obtained on the 21.Jan.2019, with the seal of the British Assessment Bureau and the UKAS Management System.
The certification will bring even more reliability to BNCE's relationship with its customers, generating more favorable positions in the negotiations regarding acquisition contracts abroad.
